As Extraordinary! is a crossover of all published fiction, many fictional and historical characters are present throughout its setting. This includes figures from various mythologies and other religious texts. Because it is debatable that they existed in many cases--literally being a matter of faith--angels, demons, deities, divinities, gods, spirits, and other supernatural entities which appear in various real-world major religions. However, this will not include prophets to various religions and similar figures--including Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ, Moses, and Muḥammad--who will instead be detailed alongside other historical figures. For entirely fictional characters, including those which would otherwise qualify as gods or demons or the like, see here. For characters who do not come from Earth, see here.
Elpis {Greek mythology, Works and Days ₂₁₀₀ᵇᶜ}
Elpis is the personification of hope, possibly descended from Nyx and Pheme; the Roman equivalent is Spes. According to Hesiod, Elpis was the very last being/item contained in Pandora's Box. Pandora was charged with safeguarding a pithos (a large jar, though usually rendered as "box") by Zeus after Prometheus stole fire from Olympus to give to mankind; it was actually a means of vengeance against humanity. When Pandora and Epimetheus finally gave into temptation and opened the box, the personifications of many great and terrible things escaped into the world; by the time Pandora shut the box again, all that was left inside it was Elpis, hope.

The most commonly given example is the Greek pantheon, at its broadest referring to any and all Ancient Greek deities but more narrowly referring to just the Twelve Olympians, therefore discounting the Titans which preceded them.
